Norwich Gallery held the first solo exhibition in the UK of the Bulgarian artist Nedko Solakov as an outcome of Visiting Arts’ Moscow Curators’ visit to the second Moscow Biennale, 2007.

A Life (Black & White) involved two workers constantly repainting the walls of the exhibition space (one in black paint and one in white), for the entire duration of the exhibition.

A fascinating, contemporary piece which both captivated and confounded audiences.
