I can't see much of the world outside whilst at my desk, to rest I usually just stare at the wall of evergreen shrubs. This keeps me focused.
My desk is my communications headquarters, R&D lab, my operations office and my conference room.
Internet allows me to keep in touch with my family and friends abroad - I type to them daily. The desk is also where the excitement of making work blends with tedious admin tasks.
I travel a lot but still haven't made it to Iran to visit Neda Razavipour who I hosted in UK as part of Artist to Artist exchanges. We continue our dialogue online and I hope to finally visit Teheran.
Meantime I am preparing for a year long residency in Sheffield with Yorkshire Artspace (http://artspace.org.uk/residency-journal/src/residency/knutton-road-ania-bas) and an exciting project in Istanbul and London with turbinegeneration developed by Tate (http://turbinegeneration.tate.org.uk/).
