Notes for producers, promoters, and agents wishing to present foreign artists in the UK Visiting Arts is frequently asked for advice with regards to legislation surrounding the employment of foreign artists in the UK. The following notes have been written to outline the basic procedures that need to be taken into consideration when bringing an overseas artist or group into the UK. These are introductory notes on obtaining Work Permits, Visas, Entry Clearance, Leave to Enter, Tax Deductions, Insurance and Medical Services, and Carnets.
