Cultural Attaché Visit to Liverpool, September 2010

Coinciding with the opening two days of the Liverpool Biennial Festival of Contemporary Art, Visiting Arts organised a visit to Liverpool by a group of nine cultural attachés on 18 – 20 September.

Newsgathering: the inside story

On June 8, 15 cultural attachés joined Visiting Arts and the European Commission Representation in the UK at a visit to the ITN news studios.

Cultural Attache visit to Scotland, August 2008

August saw a visit to Scotland by 15 Cultural Diplomats, organised by Visiting Arts in partnership with the Scottish Arts Council, with additional support from British Council and DCMS.

The three-day visit, coincided with the Edinburgh festivals and gave the diplomats the opportunity to make contact with representatives of the main Edinburgh festivals and other key institutions in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The participants explored options for creative exchange, and gained an overview of arts and creativity in Scotland.
