On June 8, 15 cultural attachés joined Visiting Arts and the European Commission Representation in the UK at a visit to the ITN news studios.

Cultural Attaché Visit to Frieze Art Fair

On Friday 16 October 2009, Visiting Arts organised a visit to the Frieze Art Fair for London based cultural attachés. 16 cultural attachés were present representing Argentina, Australia, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Panama, Poland, Romania and Turkey.

Cultural Attache visit to Scotland, August 2008

August saw a visit to Scotland by 15 Cultural Diplomats, organised by Visiting Arts in partnership with the Scottish Arts Council, with additional support from British Council and DCMS.

The three-day visit, coincided with the Edinburgh festivals and gave the diplomats the opportunity to make contact with representatives of the main Edinburgh festivals and other key institutions in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The participants explored options for creative exchange, and gained an overview of arts and creativity in Scotland.
