On 14 September 2009, 20 Carnival and street arts practitioners converged at the Southbank centre to explore ‘Innovation in Carnival’ as part of a UK International Carnival Network event.

UK International Carnival Network meeting in Liverpool

Visiting Arts' UK International Carnival Network met on 31 July 2009 during Liverpool's Brouhaha Cultural Carnival, at the Contemporary Urban Centre. While the meeting was small, the conversations that emerged were significant in shaping the direction and strategy for the network over the coming months.
