July 2007 Bombay Sapphire Prize - £20,000 International Glass Award - now open for entries (deadline 31 October 2007) The award is in its sixth year and recognises excellence and innovation in the use of glass. Entries are invited from designers, artists and architects all over the world. £20,000 will be awarded to the overall winner and £5,000 to the 'Best Newcomer'. The judging panel will include members of the Bombay Sapphire Foundation: Ron Arad, Tom Dixon, Nicole Farhi, Thomas Heatherwick, Lesley Jackson, Dan Klein and Karim Rashid. The short listed entries will be exhibited in the Bombay Sapphire Prize exhibition which will open during Milan Design Week in April 2008.
