NEW DEADLINE for The Wellcome Trust Arts Awards support projects that engage the public with biomedical science through the arts. - new deadline 2 May 2008 Inspire - Award from Scottish Arts Council The Scottish Arts Council has launched Inspire, a major new Lottery fund for the development of exciting, innovative projects 2008 Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation Grants ProgrammeApplications are invited under the following funding programmes in 2008 AIR – Artists’ Interaction and Representation is a membership scheme for practising visual and applied artists that provides them with professional benefits and opportunities to represent their aspirations and concerns to others McMaster Review: Supporting excellence in the arts - from measurement to judgement Bristol Community & Festival Fund The fund is for Bristol-based community groups, organisations, companies and charities that are organising existing, or emerging cultural festivals and events in Bristol from April 2008 - March 2009 moves08 one of the largest exhibition platforms in the UK for screen-based work exploring 'choreographed movement’.. moves is now accepting submissions for features, shorts and documentaries with a special focus on movement made in 2006, 2007 and 2008 only. Deadline: 1 February 2008 Liverpool 2008 opens at 20:08 on Friday 11 January, the artists and people of the city are set to gather together on St George's Plateau. The People's Opening will include an extraordinary performance from the rooftops surrounding the cultural heart of the city.
