Visiting Arts roadshows and training events
DCMS Roadshows
On behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and in partnership with regional cultural consortia; Visiting Arts are running a roadshow of seminars on intercultural and international working.
The seminars will provide cultural operators from the arts and heritage sectors with first hand experience, information and advice from Visiting Arts and key regional and national speakers.
The roadshows will take place in October and November in the East, East Midlands, Yorkshire, South East and London regions of England.
East Midlands - 10 October 2007
Developing Intercultural fluency

Dates and speakers for Yorkshire and London will be announced in next month’s issue.
Arts Council England Staff development training on International working
Visiting Arts on behalf of Arts Council England national office will be delivering developmental training on International working to staff in their regional offices.
The training will enable staff to offer informed strategic, and more effective guidance to their RFOs by providing a solid and up-to-date overview of practical issues, networks, good practice, the work of Visiting Arts and the roles of other agencies related to working internationally.
