April 2008 Creative Collaborations: Junaid Jemal Sendi in Swansea Last month young Ethiopian choreographer Junaid Jemal Sendi undertook a residency in Swansea for a collaborative project with members of County Youth Dance Company, young men’s dance group Dynion and students from the University of Swansea. Juniad’s technique classes gave students a chance to experience traditional dance styles alongside contemporary dance and he brought to them his experience of working with internationally renowned practitioners.
