Once more with Feelings @ The Photographers' Gallery

Once more with Feelings, the exhibition presented by the Impressions Gallery, Winter 2007, is now showing at The Photographers' Gallery in London between 18 April - 15 June 2008. The exhibition is a collaboration between Impressions Gallery, Bradford and The Photographers Gallery and is a major thematic group exhibition of photography and video work which will introduce emerging and established Colombian talent rarely seen in the UK.

The phrase "once more, with feeling" connects the artists approach to their work which explore the interlinking themes of memory, repetition and performance often through portraiture.

Juan Pablo Echeverri showing in John, I'm Only Dancing @ The John Jones Project Space

Fellowes & Pheasant present John, I'm Only Dancing which brings together artists Yason Banal (Philippines), Juan Pablo Echeverri (Colombia) and Rose Eken (Denmark), to exhibit music in contemporary art. The artists have been selected for the quality of their independently developed languages.

Viewed collectively, the work explores the intersection between narrative and the construction of fictional illusions. Here, music adapted through drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, film and performance, transforms everyday and historic worlds into the realm of the 'metafictive', for the laying bare of illusions. The show is produced by Fellowes & Pheasant and is shown at the John Jones Project Space between 25 April - 31 May 2008.
