The Portuguese Arts Awards support the development of arts projects involving UK and Portuguese artists. UK arts organisations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland wishing to commission Portuguese artists to collaborate with their UK counterparts are invited to apply

The Awards will support the development of commissions involving Portuguese artists working in the fields of drama, dance, music, physical theatre and performance art. UK arts venues and companies in the fields of performing and visual arts are eligible to apply.

A limited number of awards of up to £7,000 are available for projects taking place between summer 2008 and spring 2009.
