The Artist-to-Artist International Scheme provides the opportunity for an artist from overseas to spend a week in the UK with a UK based artist, enabling an exchange of ideas and information and the strengthening of relationships and networks.

Whilst there is no prescribed outcome to the scheme it is hoped that the practice of both artists will benefit from the exchange and lead to future collaborations. Practicing artists based in the UK were invited to apply for the awards and nominate artists from overseas.
