OUR WORK We work with artists and cultural professionals expanding knowledge, horizons and opportunities for exchange to open dialogue, further international arts practice and champion intercultural understanding. |

International Fellowship Programmes Visiting Arts develops ways in which, together with our partners, we can provide ongoing targeted programmes that enable artists to come to the UK, develop their artistic process and engage in dialogue with their UK counterparts. Between 2001 and 2005 we ran the Visiting Arts International Residency/Fellowship Programme. Unlike some international residency programmes in the UK that focus on countries with well developed infrastructures and support systems for artists, Visiting Arts worked with countries whose arts are underrepresented in the UK generally. Geographical areas of interest for this particular scheme included: Middle East, South East Asia, South America, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.
