Colombia-UK Artist Residencies

The Colombia-UK artist residency programmes stemed from a Memorandum of Understanding between British Council Colombia, The Ministry of Culture, Colombia and Visiting Arts, signed in 2004. The programmes provided artist residency opportunities for twelve artists from Colombia and England to undertake three-month creative and professional development residencies over three years.

The programme was funded by Arts Council England and The Ministry of Culture, Colombia with additional support from British Council, Colombia. The management of the scheme was coordinated by Visiting Arts who also contributed personnel resources.
