On Tuesday 20 October 2009, Visiting Arts hosted an event in partnership with Dance Umbrella African Crossroads 2009 at The Place in London. The event explored the notion of ‘Artists in Global Practice’. The evening consisted of interviews and presentations addressing how artists are collaborating and creating in a global context, and how new technologies have allowed greater dialogue with peers across the globe.
